The PowerEdge R940 is a 3u four socket rack server,whose scalable enterprise architecture can handle most mission-critical workloads, complete the configuration quickly with automatic workload tuning for many workloads.
The R940 combines all resources, including up to 6 terabytes of memory and 13 PCIe Gen 3 slots, to fully improve application performance and scalability for future needs.
• Leverage up to 12 NVMe drives to maximize storage performance and ensure easy scaling of application performance.
• A special dual-way configuration optimized for software-defined storage provides up to 50% more UPI bandwidth than a conventional dual-way server.
• Use internal M.2 SSDS optimized for startup to free up storage.
